You know how people always complain that sometimes they want to dress up but there's no appropriate occasion or they don't how somewhere important to go to right? well, now you have the perfect excuse: for your fashion blog.
maybe you'd ask yourself, why would i even want to have a fashion blog anyway? here are possible reasons:
- you'd have enough being the not so pretty best friend
- staying on the background is not fun anymore
- you want to express yourself
- you want to document your fashion history
hey, who cares about what these movie stars wear, i bet you could do better than that. and for sure your friends would be excited to see the fashion combinations you could come up with.
now, that we've finally decided to make your own blog, here's some tips
Getting Started on your fashion blog
1. select a theme or your style
- the look of your blog sets the tone of your blog
2. decide on the presentation
- shall it be everyday posts of your outfits
- some random thoughts about fashion every now and then
- combination of both (i think variety is key for blogging)
3. Get readers' participation
- two heads are better than one, once readers make comments and feedbacks, use them wisely as to how it might be able to help your blogs
4. Try to include at least one picture per blog.
A series of texts would be like reading newspaper on a computer. try to make it more interesting.
5. Try new things once in a while
like with japan's http://style-arena.jp website, they now include close up details of their streetwear. and we can now right-click thru the photos and copy them on your blog. pretty cool huh?
